Like a kid with a new toy

22 Aug

I found a new toy for my blog site and I want to show it off. It’s a polling widget. Since this is my favorite sports time of the year (college football season) is almost upon us, I will kick this baby off with a Nebraska football poll. The Nebraska football team begins this year with brand new coach, Bo Pelini, and expectations are high in Lincoln, Nebraska. So my first poll will be a question about their wins this season. You will find the poll at the top right in my sidebar. Please vote and give me feedback on possible other polls to create.

Hey, I didn’t know we could put up polls. Good addition. Unfortunately I cannot be kind to Nebraska, even though they did get rid of Beau Bridges Bill Callahan.

Hi Barry, I know nothing about football, college or otherwise, so don’t feel qualified to vote, but just wanted to say hi.

    Barry,

Wasn’t Nebraska relevant on the national stage about a decade and a half ago? Tom Osbourne should jump back on the sidelines. 🙂

    Mike,

I had not heard of the resemblance of Callahan to Beau Bridges, that’s funny.

    Amy,

Hi, and thanks for the comment, regardless.

    Erik,

Yeah, Coach Osbourne has always been my favorite college coach. It is good to have him back at the University as the AD.

    Leo,

You were ever so close. The Huskers won by 23. Nice call.
