Thanks for the comment. Spurgeon is one of my favorite theologian and preachers. He was one of the last authentic preachers in Europe. I’ve read his autobiography, and a biography. He was a man who never wasted a single hour of his life. Always dedicated to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Thanks Rob. I have seen Mark Tremonti with Alter Bridge. The guy knows how to rawk and work a crowd. Wolfie has definitely been exposed to very talented musicians in his young life. I checked out the Deftones' Album. Not bad at all. They sound like a couple of bands I listen to regularly. 10 Years (maybe a bit heavier) and Red.

Great list! i gave Tremonti a listen and agree that it’s rawking. Would be really neat to see him live with Wolfgang Van Halen. Young Wolfie has played with two amazing guitarists in his career!

Will check out some others from your list, thanks for compiling.

i wonder what you think of Deftones’ album, Koi No Yokan? That’s my favorite album of 2012.

Another great resource to add: the Facebook group for S. Lewis Johnson, https://www.facebook.com/groups/54532773477/

It’s not an extremely active discussion group, but fairly often several of us post quotes from SLJ and talk about him, learning more about him there. This group site also has a few documents including a list of his sermon series by date (years).

Thank you for the comment Grace. I so appreciate the ministry of your father. I totally identify with his doctrine and theology. I wish I could have seen him preach. Is there anyone in the family that the ministry torch passed too?

The comments above brought tears to my eyes. I am Dr. Johnson’s daughter, Grace. How wonderful to read that his ministry goes on long after he entered heaven’s gates and met his Savior face to face.
